Tuesday 5 December 2017

6pm - 9pm | Royal Geographical Society, London

The VSO Volunteer Awards is our chance to shine a light on the amazing volunteers who work with VSO to achieve significant, lasting change. It will be a truly inspiring celebration of the enormous commitment of our volunteers.

The ceremony will be presented by BBC’s Reeta Chakrabarti, accompanied by live music from The Ruhi Project. There’s a drinks reception afterwards to meet other attendees, and it promises to be a heart-warming evening to kick-start Christmas celebrations.

Winners of the 2016 Volunteer Awards

The Impact Beyond Volunteering Award

This year we opened up one of our key awards for public vote. Voting closed on 13 October and the winner will be announced at the Awards in December.

Many VSO volunteers continue to be dedicated advocates for change once they get home, and we are taking the opportunity to recognise some of the amazing work they’ve done. The Impact Beyond Volunteering Award is for a former volunteer, who has continued to make a significant impact on the world around them since leaving their placement.  We invite you to read more about these inspiring volunteers.
