As a member of the Infrastructure Team you will support, maintain and develop VSO's IT infrastructure across 20+ sites worldwide. You will work on design and specifications for new systems, provide 3rd line technical support and administer IT systems across our global footprint. As VSO continues with its strategy to move all services to the cloud, you will play a key role in decommissioning legacy servers and building new services in Azure..
You will support the Global IT Operations Manager to achieve the highest standards of information security across VSO’s network, through the identification and remediation of data security and information protection risks across the organisation.
This role is based out of our UK office in Kingston upon Thames, but you will be able to work remotely from any UK based location, with the need for periodic visits to the Kingston office.
Skills, qualifications and experience
Applicants should have the following skills/experience:
Experience of supporting and developing a Microsoft Windows 10 estate and maintaining and extending systems including Windows Server, Active Directory & AzureAD, and Azure Compute platforms. Experience with Office365, Windows Modern Deployment mechanisms, and Intune will be an advantage, as well as in-depth knowledge of L2/L3 networking, in particular experience with the Meraki ecosystem.
We are currently undertaking a significant systems modernisation programme, and we are looking for an engineer with an enthusiastic & self-starting approach to building new systems and developing their knowledge. Experience of Microsoft Azure, Intune and EMS deployment are essential in this role.
