How we work

VSO-RAISA's objectives are achieved primarily through the provision of highly skilled and experienced international volunteers who work with partner organisations on a daily basis over an extended period of time. A variety of complementary activities enhance the capacity development efforts of these volunteers, including capacity building; workshops and small grants; exchange visits and conferences to facilitate horizonal learning; documentation and development of good practice; cross-border initiatives; and high-level advocacy to achieve meaningful policy change.

Why volunteer?

Volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways you can make a real difference to people living in the toughest circumstances. Most people join us because they want to give something back and find they get much more in return.
