Long-term volunteering
Two thirds of all VSO placements are long-term placements, lasting from six months to two years. Volunteers for these roles are usually required to be graduates (and/or hold a relevant professional qualification) with at least two years' experience. These placements will involve an element of individual or organisational development through activities such as staff training or improving management structures.
